SIMKA Cooling & Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Facial Masks are designed to support barrier repair and microbiome health using a biodegradable, skin-friendly bio-cellulose material. These masks are formulated to support natural skin regeneration, deliver intensive hydration, and improve cellular function—making them a helpful tool for age management and skin recovery.
Unlike plant-derived cellulose, SIMKA’s bio-cellulose is produced through natural bacterial fermentation, creating an ultra-pure, high-performance material. The result is a gentle, hydrating, and highly biocompatible mask that is suitable even for sensitive or reactive skin types.
The mask provides a naturally cooling and soothing experience, adhering closely to the face like a second protective layer. It delivers hydration deeply into the skin while helping to calm inflammation. Free from active ingredients, it offers restorative support without irritation or overstimulation.
These masks are compostable and sustainably produced, leaving skin feeling refreshed, replenished, and visibly radiant. They are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and are ideal for intensive hydration and recovery.
Who It’s For
SIMKA Bio-Cellulose Facial Masks are suitable for:
Skin recovery after treatments such as laser, microneedling, or chemical peels
Soothing sunburn or environmental damage
Calming irritated or inflamed skin, including eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis
Daily barrier support and hydration for sensitive or reactive skin
What Makes SIMKA Bio-Cellulose Unique
Most cellulose used in skincare is plant-derived. SIMKA masks are made from microbial cellulose, produced through fermentation using a single bacterial strain (Acetobacter). This creates a highly pure and consistent material that is gentle on skin.
Although plant and microbial cellulose are structurally similar, microbial cellulose offers:
Superior purity and sterility
Finer, more consistent fibres for better adhesion and hydration
Enhanced biocompatibility, making it ideal for sensitive or compromised skin
