Materials

The shield is made from food-grade polypropylene (PP), which is lightweight and designed to sit comfortably against your baby’s skin. The teat is made from natural rubber latex, providing a soft and flexible feel that many babies find soothing.

Choosing the Right Size

Size recommendations are usually based on your baby’s age, but individual preferences vary. Your baby will naturally indicate which size feels best for them. As they grow, upgrading to a larger size may improve comfort, support healthy oral development, and reduce wear on the teat.

Use & Care Instructions
Before First Use

Prior to giving the dummy to your baby, gently stretch the teat in all directions and check for any signs of damage or weakness. Always sterilise a new dummy after removing it from its packaging.

When to Replace

Regular checks are important. Replace the dummy every 4–6 weeks, or sooner if you notice any damage. If the teat becomes enlarged, sticky, or shows signs of thinning, it should be replaced immediately to maintain safety.

Cleaning & Sterilisation

Teats made from natural rubber latex should be sterilised regularly. Scalding is a safe and commonly recommended method, following standard sterilisation guidelines for baby items.
