Materials
The shield is made from food-grade polypropylene (PP), designed to be lightweight and gentle against your baby’s skin. The teat is crafted from natural rubber latex, a soft and flexible material that many babies accept easily.

Choosing the Right Size

Sizing is generally guided by your baby’s age, however every baby is different. Your baby will ultimately show you which size feels most comfortable and effective for them. As your baby grows, moving to a larger size can help maintain comfort, support natural oral development, and reduce wear on the teat.

Use and Care Guidance

Before First Use
Before offering a dummy to your baby, gently stretch the teat in all directions and inspect it carefully for any signs of damage or weakness. New dummies should always be sterilised after being removed from their packaging.

When to Replace

For hygiene and safety, dummies should be checked regularly and replaced every 4–6 weeks, or sooner if any changes are noticed. If the teat appears enlarged, sticky, or shows signs of thinning, it should be replaced immediately.

Cleaning and Sterilisation

Natural rubber latex teats should be sterilised regularly. This can be done safely by scalding, following standard infant-care sterilisation practices.
